Yoga comes to meet you wherever you are in the moment.
Andrea has been practicing yoga for 8 years. She began her yoga journey as a 2008 New Year’s resolution to try something new.
In her very first class, her instructor commented that yoga is wonderful whether you are here for the first time or the 1000th time, because yoga comes to meet you wherever you are in that moment. That relationship with yoga has stayed with her throughout her journey.
Andrea favors vinyasa in her personal practice. Her instruction focuses on offering a balance between modifications and challenges. She has more then 10 years of group fitness instruction experience, teaching groups of all sizes. Her instruction methods and class pacing are deliberate, with an emphasis on mindful challenge to allow students to gain the most from their experience on the mat. Andrea appreciates that people need individualized modifications and progressions appropriate for their body. The safe execution of postures is always her first priority. Her classes cater to a broad range of abilities and learning styles and are a source of pride for her.
Andrea is certified in the practical group instruction of yoga and Pilates through the AFAA. She is also certified in CPR/AED and First Aid through the AHA.
